Define the Endocrine System
	n Ductless glands n Cell secrete “hormone” into the blood stream – Vascular system is a conduit for hormone – May have a widespread effect – Endocrine cells may in turn be regulated by other hormones (sometimes from distant parts of the body). n The Endocrine system is made up of subsystems; each has a regulatory circuitry.
